Ultraendurance events have grown in popularity in recent years. Although the transfer of exogenous carbohydrates to the liver and skeletal muscle is important for the performance of endurance.
Scholarship Eligibility
Applicants should be qualified in exercise physiology and biochemical processes relevant to endurance exercise as demonstrated by holding a university degree at 2:1 level (or a non-UK equivalent as defined by Swansea University) in Sports Science or a similar scientific discipline.
Applicants must also be able to show examples of excellent teamwork and be ambitious in their pursuit of career goals.
The successful candidates will play an important role in contributing to the timely completion of this project and therefore must be well organised.
English Language Required:
Eligibility – IELTS 6.5 overall (with a minimum of 5.5 in each area) or recognized by Swansea.This scholarship is for applicants from any country. Please note that this scholarship only covers tuition fees in the UK.
Therefore, a successful international applicant is expected to cover the difference between UK tuition fees and international tuition fees.
